Cape Breton University is looking for a geologist/hydrogeologist teach hydrogeology during the winter term Jan-April, 2012.

There is potential for this position to turn into a permanent position in the future, teaching geology courses as well.

Nominations for APGNS Council for 2012

Due: November 30, 2011
Nominations are now being received for positions on the APGNS Council for 2012.  The following positions are open.
 
President - 1 year term
Vice President - 1 year term
3 Councilors - 2 year term each
 
Any nomination must be supported by two members in good standing with the Association. Please see the attached form.
The nominee, also a member in good standing, must sign off on the form to confirm his/her acceptance of the nomination. 
 
Nominations should be forwarded to Council Secretary  (as per below) by no later than November  30, 2011.   Electronic submissions (by fax or email) of fully executed forms are acceptable.
 
The council is in the process of tweaking the by-laws to make them more streamline with respect to the nominations process. 
 
An interim revision to By-laws in this regard will be presented to the membership at the AGM.
 
This is an exciting time in APGNS.  We are approaching our 10th anniversary under Provincial Statute and Council will be working towards strategic direction goals and reviewing our governance.  We hope that you are willing or know of someone who should be a part of this process.
